PharmaCan Capital Corp. is a company in the business of investing in companies either licensed, or actively seeking a license, to produce medical marijuana pursuant to Canada’s Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (“MMPR”).
PharmaCan has investments in three of the fifteen companies that are listed on Health Canada’s website as licensed to produce and sell medical marijuana as well as another two of the eight companies that are listed on Health Canada’s website as licensed to produce medical marijuana.

Paul Rosen President & CEO

Paul Rosen is a co-founder, President and CEO of PharmaCan Capital. Before PharmaCan, Paul founded and served as CEO of SkyPad Inc., a leading global contract furniture manufacturer. Paul currently serves a SkyPad’s Chairman. Prior to SkyPad, Paul acted as CEO of Rustique, a furniture distribution company. Paul practiced constitutional and criminal law for 6 years. Paul serves on the Advisory Board at Alembic Goods, a product development company located in San Francisco, and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Paul received a B.A. in Economics from Western University in 1985 and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto in 1988.

Glen A. Huber Vice President, Finance & CFO

Mr. Huber has over 25 years experience in both public and private enterprise. Since 2008 he has been the President of Brett Management Inc., an advisory firm providing real estate, business and financial management to businesses and high net worth families both in Canada and internationally. Before this, Mr. Huber was the co-founder and COO/CFO of OutdoorPartner Media Corporation, a publicly traded alternative out-of-home media company that offered media display opportunities throughout the Continental U.S. Mr. Huber was also the co-founder and Director of Ambed Holdings Inc., a consolidator of Toronto based dental laboratories that was subsequently purchased by management. Mr. Huber received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and Chartered Professional Accountant.

Lorne Gertner Chairman

Mr. Gertner is an entrepreneur with experience in start-ups, going public transactions, fashion, retail, architecture, real estate and finance. Mr. Gertner is a co-founder of PharmaCan and was previously Chairman and CEO of Hill & Gertner Capital Corporation and was a founder and director of Cannasat Pharmaceuticals Inc. (a medical cannabis investor), is a graduate of The John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, University of Toronto and has completed the ICD.D designation at the Rotman School of Management. Mr. Gertner is currently the CEO of Tokyo Smoke Inc., a merchant bank specializing in the merchandising sector.

Alan Friedman Director

Mr. Friedman is an attorney and has played an integral role in the establishment, acquisitions, financings and go-public transactions for many Canadian companies. He is co-founder and Director of TSX-V listed companies, Adira Energy Ltd. and Eco (Atlantic) Oil and Gas Ltd. He was also co-founder of Auryx Gold Corp. a TSX listed gold company sold to B2 Gold Corp for $150mm in 2012. He is also CEO of Rivonia Capital, a Canadian boutique finance and facilitation company specializing in public market transactions.

Michael Krestell Director

Mr. Krestell has been the President of M Partners Inc. since 2013 and prior thereto he was the firm’s Managing Director of Equity Research. Mr. Krestell received a Starmine award by being the number 4 ranked stock picker in Canada in 2009. He received an MBA with distinction from the Schulich School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.

Steven Isenberg Director

Mr. Isenberg is CEO of M Partners Inc. a Canadian investment dealer since 2005 and is a director and member of the audit committee of Urbanfund corp.
